Our Story
Nexus Table Tennis Club was founded in 2013 by a group of passionate table tennis players who wanted to create a welcoming and competitive environment for the sport in Cape Town. Starting with just a handful of members and two tables at the Vanguard Community Hall, we've grown steadily over the years.
Today, we're proud to field seven competitive teams in the Cape Town Table Tennis League, ranging from our Premier Division Nexus A team to our developing Nexus G team in the 7th Division. Our club has become known for its friendly atmosphere, quality coaching, and competitive spirit.
We welcome players of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. Whether you're looking to play recreationally or competitively, Nexus Table Tennis Club has a place for you.

Executive Team
Chairman
Riad Maneveld
Riad has been with Nexus since its founding in 2013. As Chairman, he oversees the club's operations and strategic direction, ensuring we continue to grow and thrive.
Secretary
Shahied Johaadien
Shahied handles all administrative matters for the club, including membership, correspondence, and meeting minutes. He's been a member since 2015.
Treasurer
Zahier Isaacs
Zahier manages the club's finances, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting. He joined the executive team in 2018.
Our Facility
We train and play at the Vanguard Community Hall, located at the corner of Zenith Road in Vanguard Estate. Our facility features:

Training sessions: Mondays & Wednesdays, 7-10 PM
