Beginners Workshop Success

Our recent beginners workshop was a great success with over 20 new players introduced to the sport of table tennis.

The workshop, held over two consecutive Saturdays, covered all the basics of table tennis, from grip and stance to basic strokes and simple tactics. Participants ranged from complete beginners to those with casual experience looking to improve their skills.

Club coach Shahied Johardien led the sessions, assisted by several of our more experienced players who volunteered their time. "It's always rewarding to see new players discover the joy of table tennis," said Shahied. "Many people don't realize how technical and physically demanding the sport can be until they try it properly."

Following the success of this workshop, we're planning to run similar sessions quarterly. The next beginners workshop is tentatively scheduled for May 2025.

Several workshop participants have already joined as club members and have begun attending our regular training sessions. We welcome players of all levels to our club and provide ongoing coaching to help you develop your skills.
